David Whelan is the Manager, Legal Information for The Law Society of Upper Canada, which regulates lawyers and paralegals in Ontario, Canada. He has been leading information teams and managing libraries for over 20 years, focused on legal information, technology, and Web content management.
David received a J.D. from the University of Arkansas-Little Rock Bowen School of Law and his Masters of Library Science from the University of North Texas. He has worked in academic and not-for-profit organizations, including the SMU School of Law and the American Bar Association, where he was director of the Legal Technology Resource Center.
